As of April 8, 2020, a changed fee structure applies for newly registered Skrill and Neteller accounts
Skrill and Neteller made slight changes to their P2P fee structure. This is undoubtedly good news for all newly created accounts that haven’t made their qualifying deposit yet. Please note, that the new fee policy applies only to account created after April 8 only.
We have made a comparison of fees before March 18, and after April 8, so Skrill and Neteller clients can see the difference between P2P fees for their accounts.
Skrill and Neteller are reducing fees for all new accounts (created after April 8, 2020) that have not made an eligible deposit yet. For those accounts, the fee for sending money to family and friends will be fixed at 4.49%. Skrill and Neteller will charge 4.49%, but there is no minimum or maximum fee, and no difference between the first and following transactions. As long you have not made an eligible deposit, your cost for sending money to Skrill or Neteller wallet will be 4.49%.
Once you have made an eligible deposit the money transfer fee or P2P fee will drop to default 1.45%.
The new Skrill/Neteller fee structure only applies to new Skrill and Neteller customers, who opened an account after April 8. If you have unlocked your account before that date, the previous fee scheme applies to your account.
To be very clear on the fee structure, we have made a comparison of fees that were introduced for the accounts created after March 18 and the latest amendment of Skrill and Neteller fees that apply to new accounts created after April 8, 2020.
